It’s that time of year again when most of us buy Christmas presents. It’s a tradition I like, but it can be hard to think what to get for people, especially if they have a lot of stuff already. Well, if your significant other or a family member is into music, you could buy them a guitar lesson gift pack.
It could be a single lesson, although ideally a set of three or four is better, as there’s more time to work with and give value to the student.
Lessons are available for guitar, bass, ukulele, or songwriting, and they can be taken by arrangement at any time during 2026. The student might have played music before, or be a complete beginner. All are welcome.
I’m based in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, but if you live further away or even in another state, the lessons can be held online via Zoom. I began doing lessons on Zoom during the lockdowns of a few years ago, and it works surprisingly well. Face to face lessons are better, but Zoom lessons do work, and if you don’t live near me, they’re a great option as there’s no need to travel. Even though I live in Sydney, in theory I could be teaching guitar to someone on the other side of the world, or perhaps at the North Pole.
